Lily Alexander Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 Having a nice cup of hot black cinnamon coffee on this dreary day and hoping that the migraine headache I have will go away soon. I'm sorry you still have your migraine. Here's a hug and a nice cool cloth for your head. I hope it goes away soon. Since my hubby is on midnights this week, I can finally start working on shortening my shifts and petticotes. He's been kind of hogging the sewing machine lately. If you're gonna give me a headache, please bring me an aspirin! http://www.forttaylorpyrates.com/

Lily Alexander Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 I'm finished shortening my shifts and petticotes. Yay. Now I have to start sewing the eyelets on my stays. I'm a little nervous about screwing it up. I did a couple of practice ones and they came out ok, but to actually do it on the stays ....... Hmmmmm, now I'm wishing I had more things to shorten. If you're gonna give me a headache, please bring me an aspirin! http://www.forttaylorpyrates.com/
Red Cat Jenny Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 Just pretend its shortening...but make eyelets instead.. I am whiling away the last hour of my work week.... Lily Alexander Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 Shipwreck, Red Cat and Capt. Sterling: Thank you for the wishes. Today we looked at some golden retriever puppies. Oh my goodness, I want them all. But there is this one in particular that just happened to steal my heart already. With a little luck, (we are currently 2nd in line for pick of the litter) we will be taking her home on Dec 20th. I think it's a sign that she happens to have the same kind of stripe on her head as the dog we recently lost. Well, if it's meant to be, it's meant to be. Silkie McDonough Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 What a sweetie! I am sure you will be very happy together! I love puppies! now comes the training! LUCK!
Red-Handed Jill Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 What a cutie! Last time I played with a golden retriever puppy, Jack had to talk me down. I REALLY wanted to get a dog. But Captain Morgan would be too put out.
