So if anyone be knowing a place to find a cheap yet quality Sabre o Cutlass 'ere online, Id be appreciatin' it greatly if you could let me know. thnx The Youngest buccaneer ever to sail the Seven Seas (or just me neighboorhood)
Bilgemunky Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 Quality and cheap don't exactly go together - not in the strictest sense of the word. However, as this is for a costume, and as you're apparently just getting started, perhaps you're just looking for something that looks cool and is made of some sort of metal substance, as opposed the the plastic things available at the party shop. In that case, I'd go here. I wouldn't take any into combat, but they look pretty sharp (sorry, couldn't resist ) I AM BILGEMUNKY
hurricane Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 That's some pretty good priced casual costume ware. Capt Grey Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 Ye Little Pirate, I believe ye said in another thread that ye be 12? I hopes ye have yer parents' permission because in most states ye must be 18 or older to buy edged weapons. Captain, we always knew you were a whoopsie. Rumors of my death are entirely premature.
Ye Little Pirate Posted March 24, 2005 Author Posted March 24, 2005 Aye, me own Mam be the one hoo be buyin em for me .and yea, i said i was 12 but me meant 13..i be fergettin little details like tht quite often. The Youngest buccaneer ever to sail the Seven Seas (or just me neighboorhood)
Cap'n Pete Straw Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 I think the inscription on the blade reads "Not To Be Wielded By Pirates Under The Age Of Fourteen." Sorry. "He's a Pirate dancer, He dances for money, Any old dollar will do... "He's a pirate dancer, His dances are funny... 'Cuz he's only got one shoe! Ahhrrr!"
Ye Little Pirate Posted March 25, 2005 Author Posted March 25, 2005 nice try The Youngest buccaneer ever to sail the Seven Seas (or just me neighboorhood)
Black Hearted Pearl Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 Since I love to dress as a pirate for any occassion, I found this wonderful plastic saber at Party City. I made a proper sheath for it and I can wear it at "school functions". Last year, we had a circus act theme party for the teacher's and I was the sword swallower. Hey, it was a way to use my pirate costume. Similar to this. Try this link... latex and plastic swords ~Black Hearted Pearl The optimist expects the wind. The pessimist complains about the wind. The realist adjusts the sails.
Rumba Rue Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 Hey for plastic swords those are great! Cheap too! Unfortunately the company is out of stock on the one that looks similar to your picture. Arrrgggghhhh! Rumba ** **
