the Royaliste
'Tis a mite early, but I'll plant these seeds for those interested. During the events of 'Tallships Challenge 2005' and 'Sail San Francisco! 2005' starting July 28th, we are organising a spectacular mock sea battle 'War of 1812' era, due to the amount of participating Tallships that carry working armament. Positive response already from ship's and the Fort Reynolds folks, so.....If you are a reenactor, and need a really good 'fix', you might want to head to California for this magnificent event. Angel Island has easy ferry access across Racoon Strait (Named for the H.M.S.Raccoon), and a commanding view of the event as it unfolds.......Royaliste, Lynx, and another are already onboard, looks real promising!...Sail Ho! Beat to Quarters!........
Wartooth
Wow! Gotta mark that one down! Do me a favor and post a reminder again as the time nears. I don't have a full compliment of reenactment gear yet, but will enjoy the show anyway. Thanks for letting me know! Wartooth

Bully MacGraw
Very cool Gary. The Lynx and the Lady Washington will be in Sausalito from May1-12 (+-). That will give a little preview. We are organizing a Sea Fencible unit. The clothing will be period nautical. We have about 30 people ready to go. (my long boat hold 12) This should be fun! Now that the Royaliste is the HOME TEAM, you need to keep the Bay free from them Brits!
