Red Cat Jenny
Miss Ashcombe comes in from the kitchen. Through the Kates main dining hall where the gathering patrons are being served by competent staff.. Into the small Parlour kitchen where the PHSB crew is assembled for a sendoff brunch. "Well you lot, I have a hearty brunch for you before you head off to your adventures." She winks at Jacky, hands Ransom a nice hot cup of tea, narrowly misses a good natured pinch from Roberts as she passes, Laughs with Silkie, tilts Red Cat and her chair straight with mock annoyance, to which they chuckle and rests a hand on Nate's shoulder. "I've eggs benedict, smoked salmon, mango and feta salad, bloody Marys, fruit crepes, croissants and honey, cornbread and homemade apple butter, coffee and tea. Heres to another 2000 posts!! Slainte you Pirates you!" Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.... Her reputation was her livelihood. I'm a pirate, love. By nature and by choice! Ransom
I eye the groaning board, laden with the spendid breakfast Miss Ashcrombe and her help have made for us. With a chuckle, I address the group. "If we all eat our fill of this fine feast, I'll have to off-load some of the Rakehell's cargo, lest she turn turtle with all the extra weight!" Everyone laughs, except Nate, who seems to have a scowl on his face, rather than his usual grin."
