Aye, I'd like to find a nice costume (tis for halloween & general pirate days)

Would like a nice, good qualitee garb, & a suave good ol tri-corner cap'n's hat, I gots £40 'o dubloons at the most :huh: any help much be 'preciated.

For that cost, I would suggest take up sewing or a find a friend who can sew, then you will be in business! Iffen you look for a good bodice, you will be hard-pressed to find just that peice for that price, much less an entire outfit.

But - keep an eye out for EBay. Maybe look under "SCA" and "Renaissance" as well.

Until, I thinks, the 31st of August, Chivalry Sports.com be running their yearly sale. I just bought neigh to $700 US worth of costumin fer about $300. Much of their stuff is applicable for 17th/18th century, and the stuff is very nicely made.

Not a bad idead actually as my beloved gran is a tailoress and I found some pretty neat stuff for a pirate outfit on e bay!

Yarr, t'shall be a fine project, thank ye for the tip, with that sorted would any o' ye know where I could purchase a fine quality pirate captain hat, with feathers and the likes? thanks for all the help mateys. :lol:
