First mate Jeramiah
Out of the water staggers a well drunk and tired pyrate. "Bloody ell that were a long swim, ifin it wern't fer me rum nay do I think I would have made it." Collapsing to the sand he grabs a bottle from his vest and takes a long pull from it be for his head hits the sand in a deep slumber.
Hester
Oh, what a lovely beach for a moonlight swim! It's just past twilight now, and the sky is a deep indigo with a gibbous moon reflecting silver on the tops of the waves. Walking along the powder-fine sand, it feels like paradise... Oomph! Ouch! Blimey! I think I tripped over a driftwood log in the dark. No ... it's just another drunken pirate asleep in the sand! Geez, somebody better drag him further up the beach before the tide comes in! Cheers, Hester

Christine
*comes up out of the water to join the others* Good to see some familiar faces stopping by. Bummed a bit tonight. I worked the day shift today as activities. A busy and draining day. It also turned sad as well. A resident who I've known since she moved in 5 years ago has passed away. Everyone was shocked by it. She's usually quite healthy. I saw her in the morning at breakfast and asked if she wanted to go on the shopping trip with our bus driver. She said she did and she seemed her usual upbeat self. I found out she changed her mind before they left saying she felt slightly dizzy. She then didn't come down for lunch, a tray was brought up instead. I came back from taking 2 residents to the little market close by to find ambulance and police there. I asked our sales and marketing director what happened. When she mentioned the resident's passing I just stood there shocked. This literally came out of no where. She went from fine to dying from a massive heart attack. *shakes head* It's just so sad. *sits down on the blanket* I also pulled a muscle in my leg today. So much moving around all over the building today. Aye, let's have some drinks, that'll help deaden the pain and the bummed out feeling. It's Friday, time to relax. Three weeks ago I was trying to find an address to call him for a summer visit, and now his widow is moving back here. Thanks Merry. Unfortunately, Easter had a rough start for me. I had another bad anxiety attack all during the night, I couldn't sleep. Early Easter morning I went to the hospital. I was weak and so exhausted. It helped a lot to go, they gave me medicine to help with the anxiety. It's only to be used when needed. I never thought it would get so bad, I thought things were getting better. It's just hard to deal with regular stress in my life and then deal with the wacky hormones at the same time. I talked with my co-worker who went thru the same thing when she stopped the pill a couple of years back. She said even with meditating, sometimes the anxiety would hit her so bad too. She got on medicine as well to help her get thru it better. I'm going to be looking into yoga. I want the medicine only to be used as a last resort. So sorry to hear about your friend. *hugs* Well, I'm heading for a swim.
