piratelassie
there's a real ship, I think out of Connecticut, called the Black Pearl. I'm pretty sure she's a brigantine. Would you like both?
Black Hearted Pearl
Get the image whiles ye can. ~Black Hearted Pearl The optimist expects the wind. The pessimist complains about the wind. The realist adjusts the sails.

TalesOfTheSevenSeas
I found the same images as above, so I have nothing worthwhile to offer in the way of Black Pearl images ...but I had to show you these two little gifs that I ran across, LOL -Claire "Poison Quill" Warren Pyrate Mum of Tales of the Seven Seas www.talesofthesevenseas.com

Desert Pyrate
After fast-forwarding my way through the movie... there's not too much more than what's been posted here. Long shots are just not too popular with the director. Maybe it's because the Pearl is a barge?
Rumba Rue
Yup, the Pearl was built on a barge according to those who were in the movie. Only half was built. Funny how that first picture put up by Black Hearted Pearl looks like it came right out of the ride at Disneyland....hmmmm..... Desert Pyrate
Hmm... looking at the pictures... we always see her starboard side! I guess the port side was the one that wasn't built.
Black Hearted Pearl
Maybe the modeled the Black Pearl after the boat that's in the ride? If that be the case, I have some wonderful pictures of the boat from the ride. Let me know if you want me to post. They be from my personal collection. ~Black Hearted Pearl The optimist expects the wind. The pessimist complains about the wind. The realist adjusts the sails. Charity
I've got hundreds of pics of POTC and two screenshots of the Pearl, along with behind the scene pics of the Pearl in daytime, but they are from the POTC fandom. You can find them there in the galleries. I would love more clear pics too, so if there are such? I find it hard to find a good one, without the ugly backside it really had LOL.
