Black Hearted Pearl
Hey, isn't that the boat from the movie "Captain Ron"? ~Black Hearted Pearl The optimist expects the wind. breacanfeile
Ah, if only, if only!! My husband and I lived on a sailboat in Key West; we were fixing it up for someone. Never got to sail it anywhere, and the living quarters (sans anywhere to sit) were not the best for the marriage. But if only we had the kind of money for a beauty like that one! It's ironic also that as a teenager I was highly obsessed with JAWS. ORCA would be a perfect fit for us...unfortunately, we've been sailing some empty seas, cannons don't thunder, nothing to plunder (except from good old JB). If she were in the lower thousands I might even offer a payment plan, so much did we want a boat! *sigh* -Amy Hoff
the Royaliste
Thank ye for the nice remarks, I've always a spot for those who also share sailin' dreams..But, unlike others, she's quite a nice Herreshoff, with an excellent survey and a replacement cost of 300K.....She is a honey, once the terror of the channel and Coronado Islands 'afore I brought her north from San Diego...........
