Two Cities-One Waterfront Tall Ships Challenge® 2004 Camden/Philadelphia

A maritime-themed festival occurring Thursday, July 1 st - Sunday, July 4 th, this summer at the Camden Waterfront in Camden, New Jersey and Penn's Landing in Philadelphia.

The four-day port visit will feature an impressive array of Tall Ships docked on both Penn's Landing and the Camden Waterfront. Scheduled ships to date will represent the countries of U.K., Belgium, Canada, Poland and the United States, touting vessels ranging from 72 -213 feet-long.

Visitors will enjoy tours of participating ships that will be open to the public daily between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. along with a variety of activities coordinated to celebrate the historic port visit including music, food, arts & craft exhibits and a marketplace.

Aye Paisley, these be some of the same ships that were here in Charleston. They left here monday (under not so fair conditions) to continue the next leg of the race up to Philly. Do not miss it if ye can. The ships are really something to see, and the crews are very friendly and hospitable. I here the next race will be on the west coast so ye may not see some of them for quite a spell.

I love the smell of gunpowder in the morning. To me it smells like....PIRACY!
