Captian Wolfy Wench
WOW, Katarina, your work is fantastic! I can see a bit o' anime-like insp'ration in it, but your linework and marks with the pen is jes' fabulous. Wish I was as good as ye with tha'. I'm an artist meself, have always been. In fact, my major at my university (I start in the Fall) is Animation. I've done some animation before, too, so I'm not pickin' majors outta me arse. I'm well interested in film, too. Anyway, some of me art is at DeviantART. Here's me page. Ye can see I'm a tad bit obsessed with Pirates of the Caribbean, and the slash of such. :) Captain Wolfy Wench
BILLY BONES
I paint and create for work all the time, but haven't done anything I can put on the site lately 'til the job's done. I do have paintings in the Smithsonian History Wing, but nothing PYRATE related, and rather boring. I'll try to find something, or draw something special to put on here. Capt. William Bones Then he rapped on the door with a bit of stick like a handspike that he carried, and when my father appeared, called roughly for a glass of rum. This, when it was brought to him, he drank slowly, like a connoisseur, lingering on the taste, and still looking about him at the cliffs and up at our signboard. "This is a handy cove," says he, at length; " and a pleasant sittyated grog-shop. Much company, mate?" My father told him no, very little company, the more was the pity. "Well, then," said he, "this is the berth for me." Proprietor of Flags of Fortune.
redhand
Aye same here! Been an artist all me life...been drawin' since I was a lad. I make my living as both a designer and illustrator. Plus I also paint historical and western art paintings. Draw, draw, draw!!! That's the key to improving yourself. Good drawing is the keystone to a great painting! The best advice I've ever gotten was given by my father, who told me loooong ago "You can't cover a bad drawing with a good painting!" That and remembering to listen and take advice from yer peers, you're never to old ta learn a new trick or two! If yer interested you can see my work at www.prechtelfineart.com and at www.longrifle.ws/artisans/artisanid.asp?ID=405 Cheers Redhand
