Atlantic Enchantress Posted March 29, 2004 Posted March 29, 2004 I've missed being here, and missed many of you. I am trying to get myself going on the right track again. Short story, I lost my dad when I was 12, and my mom when I was 16. All I had was my sister, who was also my best friend. She too recently passed a few months ago. Cancer just got the better of her. So, now I am left to swim alone through the sea, hoping to stay in the right current and not drift away. Thanks to those who never gave up on me! The sound of the Mermaid's song shall calm the raging sea.
Iron Bess Posted March 29, 2004 Posted March 29, 2004 ((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))))) Well, you may not realize it but your looking at the remains of what was once a very handsome woman!

I lost my sister to cancer as well when I was a young lass. Sometimes it's just the hardest thing to live with, even though it was long ago. Best wishes to ye in the future. Black Jack Ryan Posted March 31, 2004 Posted March 31, 2004 My deepest sorrow for your numerous losses. Many of us have lost loved ones so don't think that you are alone for a moment. The hardest thing to do right now is to move on, and for that you are going to have to fight, fight! FIGHT! From what I have seen of this crew is you aren't going to have to swim alone.
Katarina Leigh Posted March 31, 2004 Posted March 31, 2004 From what I kin tell, around here- there be no swimming at all. They'll hoist ya on deck afore ye can say "Aye! Me needs some 'elp, mate!" Either that or they'll all jump in at once... I'm not sure which yet.. "Dum Spiro Spero"- "While I breathe, I hope"
