Holy smokes, that button goes back a ways! Where did you get it? MRF?

I do believe I got it there, unless they were sold online. The family always likes to tell the tale when I took them down to MRF, a three hour ride, for a pirate meet up with total strangers I met online. lol

Here is a picture for Mary of my 'Man Cave'. Widely known as The Buck & Ball Tavern. Though not much of a Pirate hangout, you might see the occasional Privateer lurking about.

That is fantastic!

That year at the MRF, Maryland Renaissance Faire Pirate Week-end was the first official Pyracy Pub Meet-Up! I only made a small number of those buttons and handed them out to the group. The Pub was still new and there weren't that many of us at the time, but you were obviously there, along with @Katey OTierney, Flint, @Sealegs Constance, @Mad Woman Cheryl, Crispy Dick, Molly, my 2 Daughters and a hand full of others.

The only other place I may have handed those buttons out was at Pirates In Paradise, Key West.

A bit out of our time period, but the Buck & Ball Tavern looks like an amazing place to hang out, have a drink with friends and work on projects.

Do you do any later period reenactment, mountain man or rendezvous events?

Thank you so much for posting this!

Wow! What was the date on that meetup?

As for other periods...I have been involved with Civil War reenacting the last four years. The 3rd NJ, also do one or two events as a Southerner with the 12th NJ, who portray the 33rd Virginia on occasion when a Confederate element is required for an event. I'll have to put up some pictures in my photo gallery.

I wasn't sure exactly, but after a quick search of the database, I found this...

I going to assume it was 2004, there's even a post from you about attending!

Thank you for sharing! ‘Tis always good to see a bit of what others are up to, and how they enjoy the hobby. Love the flag display, and all the evidence of stories to be shared.
