BCarp Posted December 5, 2014 Share Posted December 5, 2014 (edited) Just arrived in yesterday's mail - a wee pop-gun to arm the bow of my boat (see: https://pyracy.com/index.php/topic/19378-soon-to-be-afloat/). 15" barrel, .75 caliber bore (stainless steel lined), weighs about 13 lbs. BCarp Posted April 15, 2015 Author Share Posted April 15, 2015 Alrighty, finally have the swivel mount completed for use on my boat! In the pics you see the mast step in the bow, the wooden stanchion I made to drop into the mast step, and finally the gun in its swivel yoke mounted on that post. To my eye the gun is riding a bit high, so I will most likely cut the stanchion down a few inches.... Carpie "You will be a brother to pirates and corsairs...."
