PLUNDERING PYLOS PARKER
does anyone know any master craftsmen who specialize in custom scabbards/sheaths? for cutlasses and swords?
Capt. Bo of the WTF co.
Cascabel posted a good tutorial for me once here on the forums. I don't know if it is still in the archives or not, but it really is a simple task to accomplish on your own. Mine came out very nicely, it was the fist curved one I ever did. To answer the question though, I am not aware of anyone actually specializing in scabbards alone, but there are many talented craftpersons on this forum capable of building a good product to fit your needs. Bo I will be making one for my wifes sword when i get it so if you can wait until then I am sure I can make 2 just as easily as one. Just check with Matt that I have the same blade as yours ...and then I discovered the wine...
Dread Pyrate Greyhound
My leather guy made a leather scabbard for one of Matt's BKS cutlasses, I'll probably get him to make the scabbard for mine when it gets here. I could get you his info if you want. Let every man Know freedom, Kings be damned, And let the Devil sort out the mess afterwards.
