So I see an expert, If he tells me it has these faults, I'll have to buy a new flintlock, and put this one in a display case. If It's OK, i'll take yor suggestions on cleaning it into account and fix it up so it can be fired. Thanks everyone!

Love this thread. I have seen these Japane made pistols turn up in Guntraider.com a lot and they are allways a lot less expensive than most others.

Looks like with some work & wood shaping they might be allright. Might get one & try.
