Calico Maude Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 Monmouth caps are historically accurate from the 15th -18th centuries depending on your persona and region. This is my take on the Monmouth cap. I knit them out of 100% natural wool (which means they are not dyed) These caps are not felted. I have them on hand in a variety of natural colors and sizes. I also do custom color orders on request. Let me know your head size and I'll send you a photo of what's available. Caps are $35 which includes shipping via USPS.
Black Syren Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 I know you are asking for a headsize so you can show a pic but is there anyway you can show a pic of at least one cap first? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v519/Dara286/trident01-11.png If you got a dream chase it, cause a dream won't chase you back...(Cody Johnson Till you Can't)
Captain Midnight Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 Do these have the "button" on the top and loop on the brim? "Now then, me bullies! Would you rather do the gallows dance, and hang in chains 'til the crows pluck your eyes from your rotten skulls? Or would you feel the roll of a stout ship beneath your feet again?" ---Captain William Kidd--- (1945)
oderlesseye Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 eye am interested too but we do need to know if they are constructed to period specification http://www.myspace.com/oderlesseyehttp://www.facebook....esseye?ref=nameHangin at Execution dock awaits. May yer Life be a long and joyous adventure in gettin there! As he was about to face the gallows there, the pirate is said to have tossed a sheaf of papers into the crowd, taunting his audience with these final words: "My treasure to he who can understand."
Calico Maude Posted June 5, 2010 Author Posted June 5, 2010 (edited) They do have the loop on the brim and the "nipple" on top. Here is a picture of the caps. The pictures all show the brims folded up. I am not very good at the technology piece of attaching pictures so I hope I did it right. Edited June 5, 2010 by Calico Maude
Capn' Mac Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 How should one contact for purchase? Now and then we had a hope that if we lived and were good, God would permit us to be pirates.
