Eye were on vacation last week and went to Virginia City after gambling away me fortunes in Reno.

I heard of haunted stories about the old Washoe Club and decided to investigate it a bit. The club is two stories. The Bottom is a saloon still in use. Any way I tried to go upstairs but the stair way was too shaky to do so and when I asked the tender he said I was not allowed upstairs as it was shut up except for appointments by Paranormal investigators. So a bit later I took pictures of the upstairs windows from the street behind the building and OMG! I had no idea of the image eye got until we got back to the hotel in Reno. Look at the center window of the last picture..

Some magnification helps.

Hangin at Execution dock awaits. May yer Life be a long and joyous adventure in gettin there!
As he was about to face the gallows there, the pirate is said to have tossed a sheaf of papers into the crowd, taunting his audience with these final words:

"My treasure to he who can understand."

That's cool! I can see other images, as well. I saw an episode of "Ghost Hunters" where they went to this same place. They couldn't get up on the stairs, either, to investigate tremendous "feedback" they were experiencing, because they were too dangerous. Good hunting, Mate!

So, I am no fun. All I see is a building with glass windows that are reflecting light from outside the building. I can't see inside the building through any of those windows. I do see reflections from outside the building in some of the panes.

Why am I sharing my opinion? Because I am a special snowflake who has an opinion of such import that it must be shared and because people really care what I think!

Having one lens implant and needing another And still needing glasses youcan imagine that I miss all but reflections on the glass. Once the bearded man was mentioned I think I did see him standing on the rightside of the center window. Living on Block Island, particularly in some of the early 19th century places, there was much paranormal activity. Not as much sighting but feeling.

LOL, I laughed when ye started getting towards where ye went. :o

Interesting, Oderlesseye.

I guess I don't see it either. Granted I see some lady with long, dark hair but I know that's not it. Hehehe, sorry... Seen too much of Ghost Hunters. :o

Ghost Adventures DID get up that way (light guys I guess) and they DID catch a white spectre. Spooky! but awesome.

Difficult to believe windows as they are tricky for many reasons.

Someone should suggest ol' Fort Zach Taylor for TAPS to investigate. That is, unless it's NOT haunted.

I still don't see the girls at the table, but that right-hand image is a woman with a double chin and her hair piled high on her head. Above those two are three other figures. I would also point out that neither the brick walls seen in the other two windows, nor the fence in front of oderless in the shot are present in the reflection on those particular windows, so unless someone was floating eight feet off the ground, those images must be from inside. I can also see a door casing on the wall behind both figures, and across the room.

oderless, do they have any cardboard cut-outs up there for the touristas? (no offense, just wondering if this is not a set-up photo opportunity for folks like you from outta town)

Eye was wearing a cowboy hat Eye bought as a tourist that day and at the time eye snapped those pictures. Ten minutes earlier eye tried to enter the second floor of the Washoe club but was told no one was allowed up there. Lady Barbossa mentioned Ghost adventures just did an investigation on the club. Eye happen to catch that. So Eye did see what is up there.. It is an empty big room with a few smaller rooms off to one side. The windows of the Big room upstairs from the inside, have nothing to obscure the view except deteriorating curtains in the upper portions of the windows. Again no one was in the area or even on that street at the time. Thats me story and Eye am stickin to it...~
