By Garth Franklin Wednesday September 2nd 2009 11:10PM boondock_article.jpg?1251951678 Indie distributor Apparition continues its aggressive pickup strategy of late and has acquired the rights to the highly anticipated cult indie sequel "The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day" says the trades.

Troy Duffy's followup to 1999's "The Boondock Saints" has Norman Reedus and Sean Patrick Flanery reprising their roles as the MacManus brothers who do battle against the Boston mob as they avenge the death of a beloved priest. Billy Connolly, Clifton Collins Jr. and Julie Benz co-star.

a friend of my sons reccomended that movie to him

we watched it, and well....i just think lots of thingsabout that movie...

my sons will be happy to hear this and worse than that, they will be all fuddled up because their old mother knew it first...........i think that is the best part...

....poor choice of music for the trailer. And whose bright idea was it to give the brothers desert eagles? Marks a character deviation from the first film. I so want this to be good, but it looks to lack the charm of the first. :blink:

I've been following all the rumors of a sequel since I heard the first one. Many developers later it's absolutely amazing to finally see some proof that it's coming!
