Selestia
Our number of pirates planning to invade Hampton is growing. More have said they'll be there....Cap't Robert, Gretchen Bustenhalter, and their two teen sons. This family also performs piratically (music and singing). I'll be arriving at the Radisson early in the afternoon of Friday, June 4th. I'll leave word at the hotel desk where to find me. You can also email me to let me know where to find you. The Pyrate's Ball is at 7pm at the Cousteau Center (next to the Radisson). Getting your tickets on or before May 15th will save you $5. The tickets are $25 until May 15th and $30 thereafter. If you're planning to buy your ticket at the door....keep in mind there's a good chance that the event will be sold out, so getting your tickets in advance would be advisable. Plans are in the making for getting everyone together for dinner on Saturday night (June 5th) at one of the restaurants nearby the festival. If you want to be counted in, please let me know. Is anyone interested in touring Williamsburg on Sunday and having lunch at the Raleigh Tavern? It's been a while since pirates invaded the colony and the tavern....time we shook them up and reminded them that pyracy is alive and well!!!! I'm looking forward to meeting everyone in Hampton. ~Selestia~ First Wench Pyrates Of the Eastern Sea Email - pyratesoftheeasternsea@usa.com Website - Pyrates Of The Eastern Sea Pirate Reenactor - Tales Of The Seven Seas website - Tales Of The Seven Seas ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Wildest dream come true ~or~ worst nightmare realized.... the choice is NOT yours.... it all depends on which mood I'm in .... and.... how much rum there is to drink! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Stynky Tudor
Aye our wee boarding party plans on attending both the Hampton Black Beard Festival and any of the OOTW, Out Of The Woodwork Rennaissance Faire events that we are able to make. May 1 & 2, Roanoke, VA. May 8 - June 13, Lake Anna, VA Now the OOTW Roanoke festival be the closest to us here I think and we'll likely attend that event. Then depending on available resources, we might attend some of the others. Selestia, DuCouer, let me know what dates you plan on attending, maybe we can make it all at the same time and meet up! Zorg
Had some good communication from John Glass, who coordinates the renactors at Hampton. I'd written him regarding the possiblility of bringing down a sort-of composite crew as we'd talked about with the Morehead festival before it was cancelled. He wrote back: (quote) Aye lad! Glad to have you . For reenactors with costumes accurate to early 18th Century English pirates, we provide dorm rooms at Hampton U. , a couple of free meals, and some participation in the events. Others ( renfare, fantasy, captains Hook and Morgan) are welcome , and will have a good time, but will watch most events. Ball tickets ( fri night ) are $ 25 for all of us. Please let me know how many are interested and I'll reserve the rooms- we have the space (endquote) Okay, so refresh me momory: Who be goin? Z :) Drop a kitten six feet, and she grins... Selestia
I'll be there....staying at the Radisson. There are several pirates from Pan Historia and a couple non-PH/Pub pirates who will be there. I know of one other who will be bunked at the Radisson but haven't heard where everyone else is staying. I thought I had posted a preliminary "I'll be there" list earlier. Will have to find it so it can be updated. Paisley
ok mates....i was held at gun point saturday at the virginia renn fest by stynky and duncan demanding that i come to hampton.. my two options are: coming to the ball friday night then leaving, or visiting on sunday only. as far as friday is concerned, if i went that day i would get in about noon if anyone is going to be there early. mind you the only reason i'm not attending the whole fest is that i'm doing a 100 mile bicycle chairity ride for the maryland lung assoc....i can't back out on them, i would feel like a bad pirate. so mates....which shall it be???? if i come on friday, can anyone spot me a place in a hotel room to change?
