Quartermaster James Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 I just mixed up three test batches: 1) @1/2 ounce Napa Oil; 8 ounces H2O 2) 2 ounces each Napa Oil and Murphy’s Oil Soap; 1 liter H2O 3) 1 ounce Ammonia and #2 to 8 ounces What's your favorite recipe?

Joe Pyrat Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 i remember reading a report years ago on an old muzzleloader someone had found that had been stored for years and years which had had the barrel filled with bees wax by the last user. Reportedly when the wax was removed, the bore was in pristine condition. Has anyone else had any experience with this sort of storage method? The Charles Towne Few - We shall sail...
