If you buy something from say Kass at RH, she has already done the leg work and research, thats why they are a little bit more expensive. If you think about how much time she has put into her PC patterns, $25 dollars doesn't really seem like it would be worth the effort of making the patterns to sell, but she does it because she loves it. All the historical notes that come with her patterns and the fact that they are correct make them well worth the money.. To be blunt, you pay more because your home work has been done for you, turned in and you get an A+ without the headache of staring at a screen for hours. My two cents..
