blackjohn
Thanks again! No-gooder's no-gooder eh... I like that. It goes hand in hand with being described as a pirate reenactor and socializer in the recent Washington Post article. Mary Diamond
A Belated but heartfelt Happy Birthday to you, sir ~ though I do maintain that all souls whose birth days fall during the PiP calendar, must attend. Oooh, shiny!

Mission
Oi!, I don't got in this forum very often and I missed this! (Plus it happened during PiP when I was, uh, distracted and saddled with a lousy internet connection.) But I recalled we shared a birth month with Ed. So here's a late salute to a fellow filosopher! Mycroft: "My brother has the brain of a scientist or a philosopher, yet he elects to be a detective. What might we deduce about his heart?" John: "I don't know." Mycroft: "Neither do I. But initially he wanted to be a pirate."
blackjohn
Better a late salute to a fellow philosopher than a salute to a later philosopher, says I. Anyway... thanks! High on my to-do list is to sit around a table with you and Ed, drinking heavily, or at least heartily, and enjoying all the random, fascinating tidbits that I'm sure we would bounce around that table...
