hellfirehannah Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 I was playing around with my art pencils last night and out came this poor marooned pirate. I'm normally not very good at drawing people so I'm pretty happy with how he looks. Let me know what you think. All comments are appreciated, and constructive criticism welcomed.
Black Anne Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 I like it! Black Anne Roberts From the great white north..looking for warmer climes
Captain Jim Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 I like it. Hey, you got the shoes right! No Hollywood bucket boots! (Not that there is anything wrong with buckets, in the right venue. I have a great pair o' them my own self. I just get suprised when someone draws buckle shoes.) My occupational hazard bein' my occupation's just not around...
hellfirehannah Posted November 28, 2008 Author Posted November 28, 2008 (edited) Just basing the shoes on the ones I plan on getting next. Besides they are different than the typical boot, thus more fun. Edited November 28, 2008 by hellfirehannah
Captn Smite Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 (edited) Doesn't look like the blighter could pull on a rope too hard. I'd give him a bit of a wider shoulder and let his elbows grow down towards the top of his hip bones. Aaargh! Edited November 29, 2008 by Captn Smite Can ye find the Lost Pirate Gold?
hellfirehannah Posted November 29, 2008 Author Posted November 29, 2008 He actually has his arms crossed across his chest as he's looking out to sea. It would have looked better had I gotten my hubby to pose for me. LOL. But I shall keep that in mind for my next try. Thanks muchly.
