Red-Handed Jill
I admit those go-go boots were faux patent leather... And the mini skirt was plaid (plaid was SO big in the 60's.) During the 80's I wore cropped shirts, to show off my abs. No spandex, though. Okay - so I'm guessing the wee girl with the determined look in her face, staring straight at the camera. Ransom
Sorry, Jill, but even when they were popular, I hated white go-go boots. Refused to wear them. LOL What I miss not being able to wear anymore are the tiny string bikinis I used to make and wear all summer — to the beach, to Lake Elsinore, the Colorado River, my parents pool.... **Sigh** Those were the days. ...schooners, islands, and maroons and buccaneers and buried gold... You can do everything right, strictly according to procedure, on the ocean, and it'll still kill you. But if you're a good navigator, a least you'll know where you were when you died.......From The Ship Killer by Justin Scott. Red-Handed Jill
My go-go boots were black faux patent leather - a less-popular variation on this boot. There was NO way I was gonna wear white boots; even as a kid I had SOME dignity. And yay - I guessed right (took me two tries...)
