Faad Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Hello, My name is Faad and i'm an italian student (Law) Sorry for the horrible English but, u know, i'm tryng to learn... I'm deeply interested in Pyracy since i was really young (i'm 21 now) but i never began to ''study'' it till now. (i hope i wrote it well... sorry but i'm not using any vocabulary...) And i think i'm falling in love with it... From Their world to the concept of freedom that bring with them, from Monkey Island to the history of Will Kydd, i am discovering my affinity with it. So i looked for a nice community to grow (???) this borning passion but i didn't find anything good in Italian Sites ( ) ... and here i am I am happy to say that this community suprised me for its ''originalità'' (in english, the fact that this comm. takes care -also- of the original-real identity of the piracy, not only Pirates Of The Caribbean & Co.) However, again, here i am. I'll try to make you hate me NOT (???). Read you soon, bye!

Ransom Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 A fine welcome to you, Faad. You'll enjoy the great company, here at the Pub. Just keep an eye on your purse. We be pirates, after all. And speaking of the shiny, and since you're buying, I'll have a glass of French bubbly with a shot of Tattoo (that's a brand of rum, in case you never heard of the stuff). Welcome to the Pub ...schooners, islands, and maroons and buccaneers and buried gold... You can do everything right, strictly according to procedure, on the ocean, and it'll still kill you. But if you're a good navigator, a least you'll know where you were when you died.......From The Ship Killer by Justin Scott.
