Lady Alyx Posted July 27, 2007 Share Posted July 27, 2007 Yes they suck...especially if you are single and don't have kids, so you give all your friends gifts when they have their shower, again at the wedding and again every time they plop out a kid...what about us..what do we get...nothing, if your lucky they remember your birthday or at christmas, but they also get that...so we loose out on the countless showers and the wedding. Rumba Rue Posted July 28, 2007 Share Posted July 28, 2007 Thanks all, it's been much hard on Boat's sister since it's her son who married two years ago- she had been looking forward to being a grandma. Even harder for the two parents who were expecting - to come home from the hospital to an apartment full of baby stuff and no baby...that's one I can't even fathom. Never having kids I don't have the maternal feelings that parents of kids get so I am rather neutral on this. I do hope they won't give up and try to again for a family.
