Patrick Hand Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Cinimon toast is all fine and dandy..... But I tried toasting some cheese..... It started out allright..... but them started to melt..... so I eated it...... But does anyone know how to toast cheese.... I figure alla th' toast experte here should know how to do this......
Red Cat Jenny Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Toasting cheese....well you have to toast the bread first..preferably in the pirate toaster (Jenny points to the now well worn toaster next to the jar o cinnamon which brands happy lil skull and crossbones into the toast ) Then you can put a little butter or margerine facing inside, cheese and then microwave till it's melty. I like tomatos in mine and I have my own secret method for that..or you can do the Betty Crocker which is make the sandwich with cheese and bread, butter the outside and Heat a heavy skillet over moderate heat until hot but not smoking and cook sandwiches until bread is crisp and cheese is melted, about 1 1/2 minutes on each side.
