  1. Ahhh, my dearest Mad Dogge, you are a fine pirate gentleman indeed.

As you so aptly put it, I will also be donating my naturally curly red hair to "Locks of Love". To also follow your lead, I will allow the highest bidder to lop off me locks. Oh Dam. I'm gonna need a lot of rum.

Here's me chance..... Me boarding axe and me have another $5 ( and a bottle of Pirates Choice ) for the naturally curly red hair.

  2. To move a question to it's own thread:

Ack I'm going to die... Oi Haunting Lily any chance Mr. O'Keefe can drive down a full sized coffin?? about six feet in length...

Sorry Capt, but the coffin I have is best seen at night with proper lighting. Not to mention the fact that it has an air operated pop up skeleton with light up eyes inside. Not quite PC.

I know the schedule is really full for all involved but, what if we built a coffin in camp? I know we can get wide pine boards at H. Depot, Bone Island has said they have been making forged nails at the fort, and we should have enough folks with at least a passing interest in carpentry to pull together a simple toe pincher style pine box with rope handles. With the right tools could do a little demo on woodworking for the kids on Thurs. If it comes out OK we could just leave it at the Fort for future use.

Would anyone be interested in such a project? if so let me know I will bring my plans.

  3. My deepest thanks to all who took the time to comment on my completing yet another more or less successful circumnavigation of the sun. It means a lot to me. Here is to 40 more, but only if I get to keep company with such a fine band as you all.

  4. what happens at blackbeard stays at blackbeard. so i guess well just have to wait till next year to settle the discussion.

I thought we had all agreed that it would be in the best interest of all involved however tangentially, that certain events should never be spoken of again.

  5. aye, i'm back and well rested from three weekends of rowing. well two rowing- yes i do that- and one as coxwaine. i'm taking this weekend off, i've dropped eight pounds this month.

yeah, i have not heard much from edward either, hope he did not take things personal.

so how goes it in your world? did you attend port washington last weekend?

    Duchie,

Yes I have been keeping a low profile, seemed to be in the best interest of all involved. I thought we had agreed that it would be best if we never spoke those events again. That being said, I cant wait till next year.

    :D

  6. Well, as Lily posted earlier, we made it home safe & sound. I wanted to chime in with a few thoughts of my own.

First, Capt. Pern and all your crew....I know I've thanked you several times but it bears repeating. You truly know how to make a newcomer welcome, and I'm already looking forward to next year.

Capt. Sterling....Thank you for opening you camp to us, cant wait to do it again.

Callenish....It was a pleasure meeting you, and I love my new 'buss .

    Duchie....No hard feelings.

Bone Island....Who marked me the second time Sunday night, I didn't find it until laundry time today.

Anyone who missed it....Mark your calenders for Blackbeard 10.

  7. This is Edward O'Keeffe, finally, after much delay, stopping in to say hello. It was great meeting everyone at Pip and I hope to become more active in this forum in the future. Let me buy a round for the house and raise a glass to everyone's health.
