Port Washington, Wisconsin - on the shores of Lake Michigan. The first full weekend in June (June 1 thru 3, 2012), the scenic harbor of downtown historic Port Washington, Wisconsin, provides the perfect, picturesque setting for all the mayhem & merriment of the Pirate Festival. It has become the “must attend” event for boaters, bikers, re-enactors & families alike from all over the Midwest & beyond. The event includes: Invasions, a Thieves Marketplace, a Gruel Galley, a Buccaneer Bash, fireworks, children's activities, demonstrations, educational exhibits, musicians, comedians, a parade, a pirate ship & much more. Walk the Plank!
  3. Thank you all who attended this year's Military History Fest IIIX at Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, IL this year. For those who have never been, this year was quite different from the last events. The event offered more...more reenactors, more seminars, more vendors and of course...this year, encampments. Out of 13 encampments which signed up this year to compete, I am proud to say that the pirate group, The Forsaken, made their mark on their reenactment peers by ranking second in the competition...Great Job to everyone in the group.
  4. Looking forward to this years Forsaken events!

  7. Really?! What's their motivation?! I think the concept of pain isn't anything new to any of us...perhaps we can have a someone be a little bit 'off their muster' and start rambling about his brother or his mother... Then you can say that 'the subject must have been struck in the head...due to their ramblings...."
  8. Misson, I do like this idea. You running to the aid of the injured folk as they screem for help (or cry like a girl in some cases)! Also, we women folk can also 'pick through of the dead' after the battle...this give those without guns to participate in the battle..
  9. Maddogge, I just recieved my copy of the 2012 Forsaken calendar in the mail! Ooooo! Impressive! p.s. What?!?! No pirate zombies?!? Oh well...perhaps next year!
