Dearest John, perhaps discussions of Monkeys and bales and "rewards" for more private conversations rather than in such a public place.
William my good man, the captain is right, you do mention monkeys quite often. Perhaps there is some obsession?

Algiers? Indeed. As to myself becoming too genteel, need I remind you Captain that I must comport myself as a lady but if you wish you and the other rabble here feel free to brawl, tis nay my establishment. What say ye William?

Goode Captain Sterling perhaps it is good that your life is dull for a moment. Perhaps you should take said dull moment for yourself and heal thine ills.
William, wot better to make good drink better than good conversation? What topic should we discuss?
Hmmm ...I am missing Williams image again. I need to check my settings.

That is indeed a light salad, so light in fact that I can not see it! lol

Walk the plank?
I liked it, after all it isn't historical fiction it is science fiction.

Fetching a lantern from a wall hook I light a fresh candle from the logs now burning in the fireplace and hand the lantern to William. "Lead the way good sir."

I turn away from the door "Cookie!". Shortly after I return with a few of the kitchen staff from the Hyde who set about preparing food for the small group gathered at the Kate. "William, you should hire someone to at least dust the place. I have a girl that is quite good and always looking for work."

Good lads! Tis warmin to a woman's heart t'see y'both well! As you see Mr.Pew, the captain is never far from the "Kate" even if it is only close in his heart.
Captain, I have a well fed chicken that is no longer laying. I was going to serve her this evening at the Hyde but with such company as I have here I will have it brought to the fire here for those who care to join us if it pleases you.

As if from a dream I hear a voice coming from within Tsunami Kate's. A quick look into the unlit haunt and to spy none other than Mister Pew. "Preston! What brings you back to this port?"

Friday June 3 through Sunday June 6, 2011, Blackbeard Festival in Hampton VA.
Friday August 12 & Saturday 13, 2011, Beaufort Pirate Invasion
Friday August 5 through Sunday August 7, 20 11, Pirate Weekend, Bald Headed Island, NC
I know that both the Maryland and the Pennsylvania Renaissance Festivals have pirate weekends but I have never been to either.
There is also a fundraiser event for the Kalmar Nyckel where they will need pirates sometime in July also but the details are still a little sketchy. I believe it is a one day event but I have no idea where. Keep an eye out for postings.

Sterling,
Since I had no idea what you were talking about until I did that search I like to think there are others who were just as clueless and I have aided them in their quest for understanding.
