If it is not made from the damn sheep then it is not haggis!!! Kind of like wearing a kilt with yer underroos on! I love the stuff myself..Gma use to make one for christmas. Hard to find the makings here now due to mad cow and all, plus I no longer live where the is a butcher any more. It is best I think with a single malt or meade. Haggis made from a platapoose is INSANE, who wants to eat the parts of a critter that has FANGS ON ITS ASS!!!!  I will stick to the real ting thank you. 

no, no, they say that little animal on there IS a haggis. they say the whole story about it being made of sheep is a story scots made up. The pictures of the haggis are just the face of a platypus photoshopped onto a hedgehog's body.

There is a marked difference b/t Faire and normal Pyrate activites. At faire I don All my bells and whistles. BUT when sailing I wear breeches, cotton shirt, No shoes, a small dagger, small bag for my meds and sunblock, muffin hat or just a scarf on me head if it is windy. I have a bodice that I wear: 1) you can hide stuff in it , 2) I need the back support. The Tricorn works but only if you are not halling line or up and down the rat lines. I dont carry my pistols due to the fact if they fall or get hung on anything and break or are dammaged, the cost to fix them is very high. (Plus my father and I made them and they have emotional value to me)Swords are not put on unless on land. My advice is less is better unless you are going for the "hollywood" look, then stay out of the way of the crew and look cute on the poop deck. I guess everyone has their own "comfort zone" so to each his own to find what works for them. We play a game called Morgans Revenge alot ( has a top and coins) we have also found a game called Dread Pyrate that looks very period (got it at Borders Books for $50 bucks)

Guess I will give out the warnings now....No, I mean NO, Vodka of ANY kind, I will be ready to unscrew someones head. Tequila I am fine with as long as no one picks a fight with one of me mates or me, Patrone is my friend as is RUM! BUT...I tend to get a bit louder, flirt more, mess with the mortals, and cut up when tossing a pint/shot or two or four. All in all well behaved, but I dont drink in public with out one of me mates to keep an eye on me.

Well I dont go by my "real" name much....I never like it....my sister named me......Lisa. But Marie was my Gma's name and I picked it up to use at faire years ago and it has just stuck. Only a few people even know me or call me by my real name. Even gave some thought about having it changed...but I will wate untill ma and da pass.....ma didnt like the idea.

1 package of Goya Peach Necter

3 cups water

Rum to taste (Capt. Spiced is my Fav)

And 1/2 package of CROWN mulling spice

2 Clemintine Oranges, cut up and added in

Serves 3 or 4 people = if its really cold 2!

I have to say Parrot....monkeys fling poo. My bird bites my hat and ears but that is it other than screaming loudly.

Pirates were around before the Renaissance and are still around. I don't get bent out of shape when people come in Renaissance attire to a GAoP faire, bouncing around with moccasins and jerkins wearing bandanas on their head, saying look I'm a pirate.

Petee...thats what we call PLASTIC PYRATE RATS around here. I like to growl at those and throw rocks (JK)

Yes my dear and 6'3" in my new boots!!! But tall is not always easy, short men seem to shy away from me, and the ones who dont have a long way to climb! (evil laugh) Need to find me one 6'4" or better then I would have something to climb. ( God I am a dirty wench!!!)

I am the only Pyrate listed in NC....Sniffle....That is kind of lonely. WHERE IS THE REST IF MY BLOODY CREW!! Need to send some e-mails (Growl) But I do think that the map was a red letter idea!! We can all say now were EVERY WHERE!!! (evil laugh)
