    Thompson Twins - Hold Me Now. Hey that is what is playing right now anyway.

    Oh my goodness! This song brings back memories. I kissed a boy for the first time during a school dance in 9th grade when we were slow dancing to this song. I got tired of waiting for him to kiss me, so I took matters into my own hands ... pirate. :ph34r:

    Now, I thought this be the Pirates Single Bar. I was hopin that meant single malt scotch. But me dreams were just shattered. SIGH!!! :lol:

    I want to go many places.. but, okay, a short list it is:

    * Egypt (pyramids and all)

    * Yucatan Penninsula (once again, pyramids and all)

    * Australia & New Zealand (inevitable, isn't it)

    * Alaska (been obsessed since I was 10)

    * Greek Isles ( bring on the Oozo)

    * And, of course, Sailing, Sailing over the deep blue sea (it doesn't really matter to where...it's the journey that counts)

    Ahhh...single-hood-ness. The joys, the tribulations. I've been in the single boat since May, and should probably have climbed aboard it sooner. Nothin' like having a man who's not being a boyfriend, not being at faire, and yet there enough to keep me from bein' anywhere else.

    So, currently, I have a "freind with benefits" that I see every few weeks. Probably shouldn't be foolin' with him at all as we have a long history...but, well, being a Taurus, I tend to do what I want and damn the consequences. I'm keepin' my eyes open for a fine pirate lad, howe'er. If ye be knowin' of any, send 'em over to my port and I'll have a look see.

    Ya know ladies, I once got a chain mail that involved packaging up the man you had and sending him to the last girl on the list. After two weeks you were supposed to have a whole pile of men to choose from...but we all know chain letters don't work. Funny, though, tempting. Tee-hee. :lol:

    For the past twelve years at CA Southern Renn Faire I have camped with the town criers. For the past two years I've been one. We pretend to be mean, sexist, jaded, and drunk. Okay...we really are drunk... Criers have been a traditionally male dominated guild (which is why I've stayed in camp so long!!!), and the guys joke that when they can't remember a girl's name they just call her "babe". The girls all call men "babe", now, too. I decided if they were going to call me babe, I'd just accept it, but I sure as tarnation was a Pyratbabe! :rolleyes:
