  7. Aye the illistrations that patrick posted is what i've been using to cover corks, bottles,needle cases,pipes, and many other things the needle hitching and grafting , and i like the books rivingtar has listed

  10. Sophia , that should read = willie and doug are both holding pikes i think william made the big weapons of pokiness , pikes , we will be doing pike drills at Searel's and Drakes raid in St Augustine, they have a stash of these sticks for lending out in time of a Raid

Alafia river rendezvous Jan14-24 with public days jan 23-24 near Lakeland ,fla www.floridafrontiersmen.org/alafia the largest pre-1840 rendezvous in the southeast with over 1000 tents and more than 100 vendors or sutlers It is geared more to the mountainman but covers many eras , all kinds of camp gear and clothing can be picked up here and all the encampments with different setups, if your in fla its not to be missed

Capt Mickey, permision is not needed just a want to be there and enjoy, your tent needs to be period type canvas wedge is ok or a hammock, your garb should be close to 1668 or can be loaned to you, need to have your own eating utensils (i carve wood spoons)the cooking will be done by Melisa unless you have somthing special to cook yourself , food has been provided in the past , rum ,i can't remember seeing any rum there only wobble juice or nekid juice but you could bring some

  22. Well the last time i had on ladies shoes ,,,,,,, but seriously, Sophia ribbons for laces is good or ropas , i do more of the common working folk and cook not captain so ropas or barefoot , I don't own boots

WOW what fun was had, well the wobbley one is back and William and Doug we had many stops for coffee and just to pry our eyes open , our drive wasn't very long compaired to most . it took till today just to feel normal again and the swellingi s going down in my feet , it felt so strange to walk on flat ground . thank you all you're wonderful
