Well I've held out as long as i can but I won't be joining ME mates this year at PIP it is with great saddness that i must cancel me reservations on the beach under tree #247 where the last 4 years i've had some of the BEST times meeting and learning fronm some of the best friends i've met on this pub its another life got in the way things I will miss you all this year, some more than others~~~~~~~~~ but i will be back ::Pirates of the Coast, Ensign Searles Buccaneers and all around PIPster Y.H.S.   4. Mooseworth would this work for you ,Jamestown handblown wine bottle handwraped with a handle and wrapped cork i've also got the onion bottles in two sizes

  7. Stynky,I can't seem to be able to upload or post pictures to reply to a topic, i can right click on my picture and get copy or cut but when i get to the reply page my only options are delete ,I've tryed to search here but can't find How To Post Pictures . thanks willie wobble
  8. Dogge, your local sewing machone shop should have the 1/2 inch round leather belt ,mine was replaced a few years back

  11. Well not sure as of yet as to where to put me but i am a BOuccaneer , either Searles buccaneers or The buccaneer encampment ,me tent and fly are 26 long and 20 wide. I've been working on getting the searles crew to get there tent size in ASAP

Very nice Mr O'keeffe ,and doved tailed too !! i've been build a chest also and close to compleation only working on the beckets and bottom trim now and aquireing the milk paint next week when in orlando, i have taken some pictures of the progres but don't know how to post them yet , i'll try to shortly though..... wobbler

  17. And as i hear many South fla crew mates are attending , the Fountain of Youth park will be open thursday for early camping,food will be provided friday and saturday for reenactors
  18. it was exciting for who Patrick ? NOT ME!! , it was terifing for a few moments , but all lanterns have been fixed except that one that burned up and the table is good as new
  19. I learned how to make chest beckets from the Marlinspike Sailor by Hervey Garrett Smith its a great book to learn from and illistrated nicely for tying many different knots , now that i've already made the beckets i'm working on making a chest to put them on

Ok what am i missing here, your using wood to make a fire and your using wood to make the fire grate to put the meat on to cook, even green wood is still going to dry out over a fire and burn . if the fire is hot enough to cook the meat its hot enough to cook ,burn, the fire grate thats holding the meat over the fire ???? last year i used a cast iron grate to cook the jerk pork and it didn't burn up and fall in the fire , except for the two pieces that i droped , OOOPS WW
