Well mates... seems Johnny is right peevish about the departure of our Chairman Dick Cook. According to my info of the moment, (which a we all know changes with every breath) there may be some *re thinking* about Pirates 4. Johnny says that everything that *He* agreed too was born in Dick's office and he is VERY unhappy that he has been forced out. I'll keep you in the loop with anything that I can share....

End the day with a Pirate Concert... For those of you attending this FUN event… Saturday evening there will be a concert over at the Jolly Rodger restaurant (right on the water) by Pirates of the Black Swan. Updated information on the Concert can be had at the Port Royal Privateers Encampment during the day. The Jolly Rodger will be loaded up with Pirates so come on over and party with yer mates!

Our opinion is simply that no one can come up with an original idea amymore. So sad. Everyone goes for the easy route. Use someone else's idea... change it a bit and declare it yer own. Every time we have an earthquake around here we all just say "Well, there's Walt turning over."

Here it is folks.... It's a go although not for this year as stated. DISNEY: AUG. 2009 Captain Nemo: 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea - One of the first, biggest, and best-regarded live-action films Walt Disney ever made, 1954's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea was a major adventure whose unique, massive scope is now regularly aspired to by Disney's tentpole pictures today. You can bet that group will include this remake/reimagining of the Jules Verne classic, described as a "big, big globe-trotting movie." Reportedly, the film will tell the origins of Nemo as he builds his submarine, the Nautilus, and finds reason to attack. This will be the fifth feature directed by the one called simply McG, whose resume includes Terminator Salvation and both Charlie's Angels movies. Although fast-tracked to begin filming in 2009, pre-production has stalled over rewrites of the script, which has been worked on by Bill Marsilii (Deja Vu), Justin Marks (Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li), and Randall Wallace (Braveheart, Pearl Harbor). All too believable reports that pinned Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson for the title role (famously played by James Mason in '54), McG deflated them, claiming he'd still like Will Smith to headline this family flick. Scouts have been exploring Australia and New Zealand for potential ocean filming locations. Provided the delays cease soon, this one looks destined for a Christmas 2011 debut. ( More like... 2012)

Bullies are a fact of life in school it seems…. I was bullied because so many kids saw me as *Different*. I was a lass that didn’t care about the opinions of the boys. I dressed and acted as I liked. I was never demure or *helpless* (shrug) Not in my nature. I got on well with all my teachers. I respected most of them and even liked a few! Made me suspect I suppose. And one day when I came into the bathroom and found the resident girls bully, Jackie, smearing a newcomer’s face with lipstick while her *gang* blocked her in a bathroom stall. I grabbed the back of Jackie’s hair and pulled her out and down she went onto the floor. I think I wanted to say more but all I could get out was *Grow up!* What a fracas erupted after that. We were only in ninth grade mind you and it was not like it is today. Jackie yelling she was going to the principle. Her gang spreading out like scared rabbits (some stayed some fled) The new girl’s making her face worse by spreading the lipstick all over with her hands while she cried. Then a senior walked in…. Yeah, I went to the principles and when he asked me why I did it I told him “because no one else was there to do it.” All I know is after that I was never really looked at in the eye by Jackie again except for the occasional snide, rude comments as she and her minions passed by in the hallway. (Chuckle) Sticks and stones. Someone told me she had a horrible home life, that was why she took everything out on people weaker then she was. And someone else heard she had adopted and just found out so she hated everyone. I saw her again at a class reunion and you know what? It was just in her nature to be mean. Yup, she still had an attitude and was a master of the snide remark. She asked me if I had taken up mud wrestling since I would have been so good at it. I just smiled and told her*Nope, sword fighting. Try being the class B***h again and I won’t pull your hair, you’ll just lose it.* That felt SO good!

Still... all in all 'tis a fine cannon. Sad to say m’ home port is too far away to see it (or any of you) in person but I expect some FINE PHOTOS of its inaugural use! Humor me!
