Wow very cool - awesome stuff! I've always had an interest in piracy/privateering outside the GAoP, Golden Age of Piracy time frame - 14, 15 & early 1600s between Europe & North Africa, but never really gave the Baltic much thought.

Wow, this is very cool - thank you for posting!

This makes complete sense, but aside from the vikings, I never really gave Sweden much thought when it comes to piracy.

It looks like there's another place I want to travel, please feel free to share some more. 

I've had a couple people complain about the Pub loading slow - I'm not sure what that's about exactly, but this morning I noticed a lag while it was downloading the topic/thread thumbnails. I think a lot of those image thumbnails are larger in size (KB/MB/GB) and resolution than we really need. Over the next day or so, I'm going to resize the topic/thread thumbnail images, the site will also need some time to cache the images, blah, blah, blah. Please let me know if you notice any difference.

But I've seen the Mercury flag fly several times now, are there any pictures of the Mercury flag being designed, sewn, constructed?

Aside from the flag I made for Cascabel, in 2005 I made another flag for my friend Raven - black cotton sheet, (course) cotton canvas design sewn on both sides. She never did send me a picture with her standing in front of it.
