  2. I once had a pair o' pussies, rather said me ex-wife did....till I tossed her o'er board

I found a great way for ta teach pussies respect birds and not attack. Ye see, ye sits there real still an' quite like, let the craft puss sneak up on the bird, an' just the moment the beast pounces ye.....whip yer hand under it and Toss it across the room!!!

Only took a few times befer them pussies learn that birds are SPOOKY creatures and NOT ta be trif'ed with!

same thing works when kitties are where they shouldn't be. i was living with a family when my oldest was a baby. i came into the house (through the kitchen) and one of the cats was up on the stove with its head in one of the pots on the stove. i smacked the cat and it flew through two rooms, kinda hit the wall andtook off up the stairs. my friend asked was that was all about and i told her. she just said good and went back to whatever she was doing.

  5. i, to, was stunned when i saw the news on cbs's sunday show's memorium board. i didn't know he had alzheimer's til the afternoon when one of my fellow cast members mentioned it. i know how hard that is since my mom is also sufering from it and it is progressing rapidly.

    :D slainte to a great :D

  6. ^ grace o'malley be my hero. not that she had an easy life - husband killed, son killed and what-have-you. that said - her own castle is in a vulnerable location so she marries the guy for his castle in a safer area - divorces the guy and keeps the castle. had a bounty on her head - goes to london and has an audience with the queen, is absolved of any and all guilt she may have and goes home to live out her days free and dies in her own bed, much to the consternation of lord bingham!
