I agree tis stupid...I used to always think that of Medevil times as well...me and me g/f went a long time ago on Halloween with our Ren Faire outfits and fit in well into the crowd...When it was Buffallo bills..i remember i was into CW dancing then and had a great black saloon girl dress and the saloon girl boots to use and it was great...now that I am into more pyratey affairs..tis would be nice ifn we could all go there in costume as perhaps a group occasion?

RhumbaRue...he he he..that's what I did....I originally sewed some gold trim on it...but am now in the process of removing it and sewing some more authentic gold trim on it (antique gold 2 inches wide). Mine is a burgandy velvet

I agree with you, can never have enough! One of these days will invest in a new hat. I found a great one once on one costume website and have since forgotten where that site was. I purchased a long time ago from Knotts Berry Farm a pistola (kid's pop toy...actually pops a cap if you set one in) and it looks very authentic. I have a picture of myself holding it but don't know how to post a pic inside these post boxes (if you can-brand spanking new to this site). I have several full skirts that I use one is a full circle silk one that I found at a thrift shop and those go for big bucks on the belly dance sites. Looking for a new boostier instead of white frilly shirt and waist cincher....and perhaps getting one of the belly dance fluted shirts to wear under the boostier.
