  1. If you want bead type stuff (opposed to shiny gold) some of the stuff on http://www.centerstagecostumes.com/Catalog...ry.htm#Hairclip could be good. I got the no evil monkey hair clip, and love it. It's pretty expensive for what it is, but no more so than anywhere else. Having said that, it's probably more of a guy thing anyway. I love my monkey hair clip, I'd like to dres as a pirate more often even if only for that .
  2. What do I notice on a woman? Well, hair. Long, brown hair. I think I prefer brunettes because I'm a blonde, but blonde is good too, just nice long hair. Nice figure, as a whole. In proportion, and, well, nice breasts and hips. And waist and legs. That's what I tend to notice at first, but close up it's the face that counts, and just someone that you can talk to. It might sound shallow but with the best sense of humour in the world would you be attracted to someone that looked like a donkey? And vice versa (stunning but airheaded). Eyes don't normally get me, but there is one girl...
  3. Well, the best games in the world ever have to be Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2. They truly are classics, the daddy of all Lucasarts adventure games. I like hack and slach games much as the next man, but when it comes to it, the point and click monkey island games are great. I don't know how you can get hold of them nowadays (a trouble I'm having), as you can't download them despite their age, and you don't seem to be able to buy them anywhere either. There are also Monkey Islands 3 and 4, but I've never played them, and the fourth doesn't look as good (although it seems to be the only one you can still buy). Anyway, tell us what you decide, and if you do find the monkey games, please tell me where!
  4. Hawkyns, I salute you. I had honestly never thought of piracy in this way before. I like dressing up as a pirate because I like pirates, and piratical things. I have loved pirates since i was li'l, and now (I'm 17) i still love pirates, so the idea is to get some friends together, dress up as pirates (I have a 'costume', not 'clothes', although I would like to progress), drink grog, and generally pretend to be pirates for a while. I know people do historical re enactments, and one day I might get into this, if my enthusiasm for pirates continues, but I had never thought of literally living in the period. I would love to do this. I really like the idea of living off the land, and enjoy picking berries etc when camping out, and I would love to hunt. That is more than piracy, its the period, and I would love to be able to do that one day. I suppose you could say you've inspired me. Until then though, it's historically inaccurate costumes and cheap rum. It's still enjoyable, but it seems a little 'hollow' now. Cap'n Alex, with a new take on pirates.
  5. Well, I don't quite fit into the categories, but I love pirates so much, I'm just getting a costume and hope to use it as much as possible (I'm trying to assemble my friends into a crew) and... well... drink rediculous amounts of grog! Yarrr! 'Tis a pirates life fer me!
