The Sheppey Pirates will be engaged in our own, unique brand of mayhem at the Maidstone River Festival again this coming weekend.
It's a free, open event for anyone wanting to come along.

Alcoholic - cider but I get real loopy on it so don't drink it any more

We hit 36C this week in the part of the UK where I live.
Thank god I live on the coast - on an island in my case - and have had all those nice sea breezes to take the edge off of the heat.
Reckon there's a good chance of topping the record temp recorded this year in the UK that was recorded last year.

Here's a good reason NOT to be on MySpace:-

There's no such thing as a free lunch as the saying goes.

The article has been removed from the website you've linked to.
Boo! Hiss!

Microsoft to ease up on piracy check-ins
This makes no sense at all!
They want to beat piracy but are taking this kind of action!
Absolute idiots!
While Microsoft bashing seems to be the fashion these days - and I'm as guilty of it as anyone - that just seems typical for them.

Ah, well, we do what we do...
For anyone that wants to see what a boring MySpace profile looks like...
Does the adbar get added by MySpace? That's also one of the reasons why I don't use free webhosts - I'm assuming that's what MySpace is - as I don't normally like ads and like to have some control over them when they are necessary.
But, as you say, we do what we do.

I agree! Especially since our hacker still has the Pub virus activated.
If you are using Internet Explorer or similar by Microsoft as your browser, switch to Firefox, there's better security features there, and you won't get the Pub virus in your computers.
I switched over months ago and won't be going back - though I will have a look at IE 7 when it's released to see how much of an improvement it is over IE 6.

So do I, Mr. McB., but I look at this as a fun thing - separate from my "work" site...
As do I. I still prefer my own webhosting and domain name. That way i can have more fun!
-
Nope, I'm not.
I much prefer to register my own domain names and secure my own webhosting. That way I have more control over how my site looks.

ESFJ - "Seller" for me.

How about Captain Jack's Pirate Hats?
Our captain bought his hat from there and it's mighty impressive.

Tall Paul, Foxe and Capn' Daft have all has the misfortune to make my acquaintance.

Hi all,
Just to let you all know that the The Sheppey Pirates and The Sea Wolfes have been comissioned to conduct a raid on SA1 in Swansea, Wales, UK on the night of the 1st October 2006 to mark the opening of the new gateway to the redevelopment of SA1.
More details will be added in the lead up to this little caper but, for now, we can tell you that it's a free event open to the public so you can get yourself along to see the pirate battle we intend to put on that night.

LOL
The old beer goggles were being worn in that clip.

I think you're missing my point, which was not an important one to begin with. So I'll just say, "OK!"
I think you're missing mine actually but I'll let you off seeing as it's my birthday today.
-
Thanks!
Thing is, I was actually reaching for a 3-1/2" disk...
You mean you still have a 3 1/2" drive on your PC? How retro.

Doing some web design, playing the occasional compuer game - Deus Ex to be exact - and listening to music.
-
For me it's to try and be as authentic as possible but not to get obsessed with it. I'm in it for the fun and all these authenticity drives that you sometimes see end up stripping the fun away.
-
I actually think i found this site through a search engine
Same for me.

Seems to be a simple decision really, follow the beer!
I'd agree with that sentiment.

Right, an Aussie parody of a Maori...err..would you call it a dance? Anyway...Maori, New Zealand.
But still belongs in Australia. Listen to the lyrics. It was all to do with the Rugby World Cup in Australia in 2003.
-
Looks like they belong in New Zealand.
No - definitely Australia. It's an Australian mickey take of the Haka.

You may have seen this one before but it always gives me a chuckle:-
