I just got the same boots from House of Ander today.
I am very happy with them. They are comfortable and not as hard to get off and on with the zipper at the ankle.
I recommend these boots to anyone that is in the market.
The best thing is that they were only $65.95!!
Me Pop's a retired state trooper and i ended up with lots of his old stuff.
I found that a policemans duty belt works well for a pirate.
Look for your local uniform or police supply store. They sell used gun (duty) belts and other leather goods.
You can get a thick leather belt in black or brown that is about 4 inches wide for about $5.00.
Most come with a nice copper or silver buckle!
Another cheap way to go is head to yer local GoodWill Store (thrift store) and look in the dress racks.
Find a womens chemise (dress-like garment that hangs from the shoulder). Find the right size and with a little trimming and stitching.......Bang!
Ye gots a waist coat fer $2.00 and some change. I just made one.
I'll post a photo as soon as I figure out how!
Forgive me stupidity........
I don't know how to post a photo.
If you know about coins, please send me your email address and I can send a very good scan of the coin.
Anyone know much about coins?
I ran across an old silver coin in my collection dated 1804. Not from the U.S.
Head on one side and a crest on the other.
If anyone knows much about coins, let me know and I can send a photo.
I thanks ye!
