Sat July 30th BC Renaissanc​e Festival someone who seemed to know our patterns lied to security & got backstage.​ My tech (& ID-Wallet-​$) used to keep BCRF, JD, (& Me) goin​g was stolen. There's no insurance to replace these items. Villager Bianca has set up a donation pg. to recoup enough to replace the valuable tech & ID. WHAT AN INCREDIBLE WEEKEND!!! Rusty Scuppers was WICKED. Vows renewed, Good people by our side, mini brigs sailed, kids played with.. sigh... I hope to get some pics up here but plenty is up and happening on Facebook (Christina Carr - Jade Dragon Pirates). Now to focus on the BC Renaissance Festival. Source of rumours that we are cancelled found and presently being repaired. Canada Day Parade set. New MacKay hat present. I'm a very HAPPY woman.

Sorry for not popping by. Got busy with sending half the crew to Hat's Off Day and the other half in Steveston for Ship to Shore. This weekend Boat for Hope, Next weekend Langley Days, then Rusty Scuppers and then Canada Day. All the while rehearsal, edits and such. I'm crazy and loving it!!

Headed down to the US in the AM for a promo for Rusty Scuppers and other Washington State Pirate events. It is an honour to not only be asked to come and do this with them but also to be doing a pirate renewal at Rusty Scuppers. Life is good. Hubby is wonderful. Weather is getting better..... I'll be missing a few but mostly due to the demands and requests from others. Thank you sooo much for that support and apoligies for not spending more time here. Got insane and loving it...

Trying to find work to pay for mundane things (like rent) and getting caught up with paperwork, rehearsals, BCRF plans and contracts and... You get the idea. Miss many of you. Will aim better next time.

Up late getting ready for rehearsals tomorrow. Tired as we were at the storage locker getting items for the Corporate Staf party/awards banquet later this week. The ship and dock were buried under BCRF set pieces. What a day. Long sleep tonight.

Another party (Staff party - pirates meet awards show = evil grin), rehearsals for BCRF 2010 has begun, New outfit being broken in.... I've gotten some requests for attendance at various events outside BC but still trying to figure out how to make them work. Special thanks to the crew who are soooo good to me. We'll get through the storm somehow.

Let's see. Costume repairs for this weekend's gig? Almost done. Swrods oiled up and scabbards checked? YUP! Boys sashes and bandanas all present? Mostly but since they are not always mentally there not sure it matters. ;-P Exhausted from all of that, sword practice and paperwork. YUP. Ready to pirate up the Diamond Ball fundraiser.. HELL YEAH!!! Now to sleep.

A quick check in. Writing script, prepping for gig, going to see a friend off tonight (moving East), Meeting tomorrow another Sunday and first batch of auditions Monday and Tuesday. Don't know where my head is at so if anyone found it, let me know.

Finalising a contract for a public gig fund raiser, setting up for two presentations over the next 2 weeks, making copies of paperwork for obligation mid Feb. fight practice, singing practice, video edits, web stuff, social media - My computer and I are spending WAY too much time together. Miss you all. Will try to come back more often but...

Just quickly uploaded the pics of the Charity Fairy. She's incredible. I have Gossamer Winged Creations to thank for her. All hand made and beautiful. I uploaded the pics into my album now to Sushi dinner with a friend.. and the hubby of course.

Ye know ye are a Pirate when the app store for your iDevice doesn't include gunpowder handling advice, list of pirate events, or a half decent english to Pirate or Gaelic translator or a history of piracy app, and this upsets you.
