  1. I just finished reading Sinner's Creed (not piratey but it sounds PIratey). Scott Stapp (lead singer of Creed) wrote a book about his life and the story behind a lot of his lyrics. It was really good to my plesent supprise. Good read i highly recomend it.

  2. Wasn't sure if i should have posted this here or in the food section but since i have no recipe here it is...

OK, I've been in Japan for a year now but haven't been home for about 6 months. The wife is not the greatest cook in the world so now that I'm going home I'm going to be resuming my duties in the galley. I'm trying to come up with a fitting piratical (yet yummy) meal for the crew upon my return. No luck yet.

The wife is allergic to sea food and son is pretty picky (unless its sloppy joes). Any one have any ideas?

  3. After 25 years with the Navy, and 30 years with M-I-C-K-E-Y {O-U-S-O-B}, I am retired from full time employment.

When I'm not studying for a mail-order gynecology course, I sample rum, and sell used ice. Enjoy sailing, photography (underwater too, until I had to quit diving), world travel, and creating pirate type things.

Mail order gynecoloy? I gotta find out more. I could say i studdy the same thing on the internet. I'd say im rather an expert on observing that sort of thing, and I dont charge but a couple of drinks!!

  4. I just finished off "SILVER: My Own Tale as Written by Me with a Goodly Amount of Murder". An awesomely salty tale of Long John Silver. It's defiantly not a story for the kiddies. It paints a beautifully wicked of Captain Silver and tells about just how black his soul really was. Even through he is so down right evil you can't help but love him and root for him. I love the book and do recommend it to any one who harbors a soft spot for the bad guy.
