  1. Love the first one, sat through the second one at the theater (in costume even) when it opened, haven't watched it since. Saw about ten minutes of the third one, that was enough for me. I will give #4 a shot, but have low expectations givien the second and third were so bad (IMO).

  2. Ottoman Turks were fond of that kind of decoration as well, and the miquelet locks were found all around the Mediteranean, Middle-East, and north African coast too. Any clue as to the origin of the image?

  3. For temporary traction that serves well and is easily removed, duct tape is sold in a medium brown color. This is what I use when navigating slick terrain indoors. A patch under the heel and the ball of the foot is all that is necessary, and the medium brown color is practically invisible when "kicking-back" where the sole may be visible to others. Hope this simple trick is some benefit to you all.

  4. Most definitely my Hasbro G.I. Joe figures and accessories from the 1960's and 70's. I still have much of it and my step-son talks me into getting them out occaisionally, but I won't let anyone else play with those veterans of many wars and spec-ops.B)

  5. Aye Mr. oderlesseye, we shall all hang seperately if not together! (I'll bet some upstart English-born colonist will steal that line from me someday!)

I must appologize for not being clear, in that while I am FROM dear old Eyre, I have not set foot on her soil for many a year. Allow me to say only that political climate would make it a health hazzard for me to do so.

I now roam the world looking for a place to settle and fill the void of years adrift, and here in the colonies seems the place for that.

Well then, well met my fyne friends. Have another round on my account as I continue to plunder the knowledge shared here. I shall remain a bit quiet until I have sorted out all I have gleaned thus far.
