  1. I found out today from Mr. Suttle that a lawyer who he met during a Pirate function at the NC Museum of History is helping them with fighting the forclosure on their house so it does not look like they will loose their home. The family is still in need of help with providing some kind of Christmas for their son ethan. He loves pirates and all things Star Wars. I went over yesterday and brought them some food and despite the situation Chris is still in very high spirits. He had to sell their computer so he asked me to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Remember, anything you can give to help out this wonderful family in their time of need is appreciated. Mr. Suttle will be undergoing another surgery in January for a hip replacement since the pain is too much to handle now. This will make it unable for him to work for another 6 weeks and unemployment is still tied up in legal hearings. I know times are hard for everyone right now but please, if there is anything you can spare, even just a small gift card to Lowe's or Food Lion or a few dollars to help out their numerous medical and monthly bills it would really make a huge difference right now. I wish I could do more myself but I have already given them as much money as I can right now. I know Chris would be upset with me for asking this since he is very proud and would hate to put anyone out or ask anyone for money so I am asking for him. This family deserves a good Christmas and I hope you can help.
  2. Hello, I have posted on here before on behalf of Capt Scurvy, or as most of you know him Chris Suttle. It has been my pleasure to work with Chris for over 4 years now and I have never met a more generous or caring person. As a Pirate the kids and adults love his storytelling and have enjoyed his performances as Blackbeard immensly over the past 11 years. As a "normal" he has been involved with numerous local charities and a strong advocate for autism in Raleigh NC. As some of you know, he had to have back fusion surgery in July. Since then the doctors have found problems with both his hips and his ankle now. He is facing numnerous surguries and due to this has been unable to work. The state Emplyment Securities Commision has sent his request for unemployment to a judicator (means they won't have an answer for another month or two) and he has been denied Sicial Security Disability but is working on fighting that. Unfortunitly time is not on his side. I am asking for anyone that can help, no matter how much or how little, to help this family have a happy holiday season, especially for their five year old autistic son. Any monetary gifts, presents for Ethan, Gift Cards for Lowes or Food Lion can be sent to the adress below. Please Make any checks or moeny orders payable to Chris Suttle and thank you for your generosity. Living History Productions 5912 River Lake Circle Raleigh NC 27604
