I just plundered what is to become our parade float on Ebay for a whopping $27.51 for the hull you see below and the trailer! You'll have to use your imagination here quite a bit, but picture this humble little wreck below painted black with red trim, and the guild name on the back, painters canvas sails on a PVC mast, remove the winshield, strip the inside down, add a poop deck with a railing to the back.... It's gonna be quite a project to convert it, but it should be fun. If anyone has any suggestions I could use lots of ideas and advice!!

I just ordered me a 4 reale silver cob from Sedwicks. This is half the value of a piece of 8 (8 reales). They specialize in Colonial coinage of Spanish America. Their prices are reasonable, so anyone can own a piece of history. Also, they have a section on Cob & shipwreck history-worth reading. http://www.sedwickcoins.com/index.htm :)

Being that this is my first post, I will get to the point. I am looking for links to Coats and Long Vests(about knee length or more). Preferably leather but any link to the afore mentioned would be fine. And this post can kind of consolodate all of those links for others in the future. Thanks Nathaniel Hawker Boatswain of the Lusty Wench

Yarr there mates... Me be wonderin' where the best place is to buy pirate-related merchandise on the Internet. Mainly, I be needin' a good-sized Jolly Roger. Everywhere I look fer flags, I seem to always end up at a "questionable" site where I feel uncomfortable giving out me Pirate Express credit card. If all else fails, I can always do E-bay. But if any of you rapscallions have a better suggestion and know of a trustworthy site with good bargains, please let me know. Oh...and I don't wants to be purchasin' "already used" items from any of ye. Just thought I'd warn ye in case you were thinkin' of sellin' me yer used eye-patch, or somethin'. Arr...that's just gr…

I have located pantaloons for sale online, but most are white, and used primarily for undergarments, but I recently saw a Lady pirate wearing black ones with a nice long flounce at the bottom like Fancy poet shirt cuff. I would wear those to the grocery store. They had a special charm about them. Pants must always be comfortable, as any Pirate knows. Being able to move quickly has saved many a Mate from bein' run thru ! Harem Pants can be modified for Pirate wear. Many belly dancing suppliers have nice pants, and sashes. I find rayon seems to drape the best. Often, when garments are "Cut on the bias" (ask a seamstress to show you what that means) they seem to move b…
