A good friend of mine is attempting to find a home for his gorgeous pirate vessel. I hope some nautically inclined scoundrel will take advantage of this incredible opportunity. So stop being a landlubbing wannabe pirate and check this baby out. He built her with his own hands, raised her from a pile of wood, into one of the most gorgeous little vessels you ever did see. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...em=140324116014

Ahoy Maties This belt is based on a mid 17th Century German Dragoon sword belt (first picture). It is also very similar to scottish sword belts of the time (smaller picture). As usual I tried to keep historically accurate. The belt is 2" wide and the small buckles are the correct ones for the time period (as near as i could get). There is a large ornate brass buckle on the belt but this can be replaced with a smaller more period correct square buckle if needs be. There is a removable plug bayonet frog (which holds the John Barnett replica version so hopefully will hold other brands too) and adjustable straps to alter the drop on the sword loops (these are quite ha…

This long coat is from Shrine of Hollywood. It's a first quality coat that I bought last fall for a little over $300. It would make someone a fabulous fantasy pirate coat or perhaps a great Steam Punk or Airship Pirate coat? The size is Large, it's made of heavy cotton with a full rayon lining. There are two inside pockets and two functional outside pockets. There is a lot of detail in this coat. Like I said, I bought it just this past fall and have worn it probably two-three times. Please PM me if interested. $200 + $10 shipping. Paypal is great.

just picked up a used wall tent tonite !! made by panther primitives, flame retardent, too... it came with NO poles, a 10x12 fly... it was used twice and then sat in a storage shed for 5 or so years which gave it time for mice to chew a few holes in it, spill some oil on it and get a little dirtier !! obviously i have to patch two small holes in the roof, and the others are in one of the flaps... some of the questions i have are.....looking for recommendations on making a 2 piece ridge pole, 2x4's for the two uprights inside the tent, and 2x2's for the short walls seem right ?? and 2x2's for the fly ?? has anyone added a rear door to one ?? it looks like a s…

My daughter's in love with this one. I'm only listing it twice. Working on a more grown-up size in green and gold, but it might take over a month to finish. Got a few pirate vests, knee breeches, and a burgandy coat to finish up first.

Well, It's been a while since I last posted here, to say the least... Our crew acquired an old galvanized steel rowboat... and ugly thing to be sure, and not our first choice of materials, but free be free. I'm fairly decent at modifying things, just not building them from scratch, so this presents a perfect project. Inspired by the Beer Bard's Privateers mini-brig project, we'll be modifying this into a small ship-looking sailable longboat as it were. Here she is, barely into the cleanup phase before we get to adding wood to her: Fore: Aft: She's 13 1/2 feet LOD at the moment.

Ladies and gentlemen, I have several items for sale that may suit those of a nautical interest. The second being a hand sewn naval short coat with white trim and brass domed buttons. This jacked is blue wool with linen lining ($150.00). The last being a set of blue velvet small clothes (breeches and weskit). These are machine sewn and of the mid 18th century style. I am gloating a little, please forgive... I had a really cool Dutch Hanger made by Old Dominion Forge that was unreal. There are still pic on my site. I sold it last fall to fund other projects, and while I was hesitated a bit to sell it, I at leas knew that I had another custom blade on order, that would take the sting out of parting with my Dutch Hanger. I put the order in (that is, got on the waiting list) in 2007. With an estimated delivery date of Summer 09. Well, summer 09 is right around the corner, and the maker has sent pictures of the sword in progress, so I thought I'd share. To me, this is the quintessential GAoP sword, as it was only made (the style …

OK... we have a thread in Rabble Rousing about posting a picture of you in your garb..... but now we are discussing other garb subjects..... Cheeky Actress's stays look great.... and we have been discussing many aspect of them..... but You in your Garb should be for posting pictures of...... well... You in your garb.... not other (garb) stuff) So I figured we needed a thread just for how you made parts or all of your garb.... AND FOR BOTH THE HOLOLYWOOD AND AUTHENTIC PYRATES...... if it is nessicary for another thread for authentic pyrate garb.... heck... we can do that in Twill..... I figure that period stuff is good information for Hollywood Pyrates... and sewin…
