A copy of the Letter left by Henry Every himself notifying English Captains of His intentions towards them and warning them of a French Raiding party. Is there anyone in the Silver Spring/Wheaton, Maryland, area, who would be willing to teach a person new to this period how to sew? He'd rather make his clothes than buy them, and it's not a task I can undertake at this time. Please PM me about this. Mistress D.

A cutlass and a Rapier, Cutlass has a brass knuckle guard and the original silver colored basket. Rapier had a wire wound handle which came off, and the seam on the back of the scabbard needs to be re-glued or tacked. I am looking for a good coat, wool or wool blend for cooler weather, used and lined or unlined...or other piratey treasures!! I also have a bunch of deer antler that I am probably going to make into buttons, plus a big assortment of pewter buttons from plain to Rev-war.....

This is a fully customisable broadsheet anouncing the Last Speech and Dying Words of a person hanged for Piracy. The text is taken from an actual document from 1719 from a sailor proclaiming his innocence saying he was forced to join a pirate crew rather then joined of his own free will. The name of the accused can be changed to your own (or anyone elses you want) plus you can name the Captain of the ship you originally sailed with, The name of the ship you were originally on and the Pirate whose crew you were "forced" to join (I will adjust the dates to the right period for the pirate you want). Available at my etsy shop http://www.etsy.com/...peech-and-dying

I normally don't post every location that takes to sellin' RootJack. I really don't wish to bore and perturb the members of this hear board. However this little news tidbit is worth mentionin'. See VooDoo Elixirs be out of the dread pirate port of Elkhart, Indiana. Ye know we be tough since we have to slog to the Caribbean all the way from the corn belt. Shippin' something as heavy as RootJack can take any ship to task. Shippin' all the way from the midwest to Oregon takes a special kind of Pirate bravado. I'd like to see these mates rewarded for the tenacity, so I'm hopin' a few of you Oregon pirates can stop in to their shop and buy up all their RootJack. The na…

Ahoy Maties This belt is based on a 17th century French colonial infantry sword belt that would have worn during the Golden Age of Piracy. With this belt I tried to keep historically accurate. The belt is 6cm wide and has a large 2 pronged period correct brass buckle. There is a removable plug bayonet frog (which holds the John Barnett replica version). The buckle is off centre like the original belts to allow bellyboxes or cartridge pouches to be worn £60

If any one be seekin to get Jack Slapped, er perhaps ye wenches (are we allowed to Swan Slap the wenches?) who may be in seek o' some fine quality beads rather then that plastic junk (er, what is 'plastic' anyway?), well I recently found a small island with just th' right stuff: Kate's Treasure - Tibetian Beads not as cheap as plastic and clay but they sure are purdy. I have a hand made chest I am willing to trade for gold, silver, US$, firearms, or any tradeable currencys. It is solid 1" pine with a red mahogany finish, 3 coats of urathane, & waterproofed from the inside. There's a pound of screws in it all countersunk & filled. It has brass fittings and the dementions are 32"x32"x32" plus about 3" for the large bronze casters it sets on. There is a slide tray in the top. I'm storing ammo & misc pirate smack in it & need to make room for another smaller one I want to make.

Well it's been a wild and crazy year for me so far. Sorry for the long absence from the pub here. Now that the rigging and dive work is starting to slow down I'm back to producing tools, cordage, etc. for sale. I also finally have a website up (sort of) showcasing some of the work, most of which regulars to the pub have probably already seen. Pricing is listed but right now it's just phone or e-mail orders. The home button on the bottom of the page takes you to my rigging/dive company here in south texas. It's a work in progress but it's finally getting there. http://www.coastalbendyacht.com/buccaneer.html
