Hi there all! My name is Jacqui, and I live on a game reserve in the deep wilderness of South Africa. I own & run my own company with my partner, and love to write, read, adventure and explore in my spare time. I'm an artist, am completely new to piracy, and am very excited by it. I've been playing fantasy roleplaying games for decades, in recent years have played in the Adrian Empire and the SCA, and this year have started vending my artwork at renaissance festivals, so I'm somewhat familiar with medieval/renaissance stuff. My pirate interest was really piqued a couple of week's ago when the Virginia Renaissance Faire had a pirate's weekend. I managed to get a pair of appropriate linen pants, a scarf, some beads and a few other things, and looked ok. But oh, my ... some of the guys out there were truly rockin' it!!! Ahoy mates I've been looking for a forum like this for ages!!! can't believe I didn't before. I am a pirate for the annual Evangola state park Piratefest in western New York! I love playing pirate, pirate movies, pirate books, learning all I can and heck anything pirate! So, it's been a long three years during which I haven't been around here as much as I'd like. But as of Sunday, I'm graduating from GW law school. Got straight A's and A-'s my last semester. No job yet, so I may have to turn to piracy to survive (not!) Hopefully I'll have a little more time to hang around until I have to start getting ready for bar exams.

Hello everone, I am Hermann the cossack. I pillage the Turkish coast with me fellow cossacks from Syech Zaporozhye. Seriously though, I'm from Canada. Part of my ancestry is Ukrainian, so obviously I have taken an interest in my cossack past. Me mateys and me reenact a cossack crew who raid Ottoman settlements across the Black Sea. Besides that, I work, lift weights, study, et cetera.
