Wondering if there are any New England pirates planning on heading to the Annual New England Pirate Fest on August 11th/12th, or King Richard's Faire in Sept./Oct? I was planning on going to both, dressed in my newly acquired garb!

Hello, I for the most part do not believe there are many Alabama pirates. I at one time heard of this crew, but have tried contacting them and have not gotten far. The first mate of me crew has a house in dauphin island, Alabama. SO, we want to take over the crew of Massacre Island Pirates. If anyone has any ideas as if this old crew is still active or knows how to get in touch with them, it would help alot. Seeing how my crew goes to so many events along the gulf and Atlantic coast, we should be the ones to take over this crew/carry on/steal.... many thanks, Capt. Jesse

If this is the wrong place for this post, I apologize in advance for putting this in the Rabble Rousing section. I'm not quite sure which forum to put this in, so I'm putting it here. While at Scarborough Faire last Sunday, I came to the realization that many of the various pirate crews in Texas tend to be seperate, and don't have much communication with other crews (I know my crew doesn't have much correspondance with other crews and I'd really like to open some correspondance with the other crews (yes, I used a few big words there.). In light of this, I have created a Yahoo group, solely to {here come some more big words) facilitate communication between the various pi…

I know that pyrates frequently visit Michigan RenFests and such, especially SilverLeaf and, of course, Holly, but are they... organized? Cheers.

Avast me hearties……. Calling all lusty lads and lassies and even old seadogs too….Me and my cabin girl have recently run ashore here in the Land of the Delta Blues and have noticed a lack of piratical style gatherings and fellowship and fun. So if any of you Gentleman and ladies of Fortune are interested in activities like raiding the Tenn. Ren Faire and possibly Pyrate Week or a portion there of in New Orleans and anything else we can get into. We have a lil Captn’s daughter so powder monkeys are welcome for non adult activities. But powder monkeys a warning if you’re not with your Sir or Dam don’t think of trying to partake of the grog. Drop us a line or give us…

Ahoy all! I could use some information from those in pyracy.com who like to perform as pirates. I've received three requests alone this week from clients in different parts of the country who need pirates. We can't cover all the bases and I prefer to use my mates here instead of finding ones I don't know through No Quarter Given's listings (a great resource, I just don't know everyone there). So, if you'd like a referral (these are usually corporate gigs, festivals, special events, fundraisers and educational institutions), please provide the following here and I will create a little sheet to send to clients when they ask. Crewe: Location: Area Served (how far will a…

I'm along the CT shoreline and I've heard there be many a corsier nearby....I've spotted them out and about and now and again a quick jig and an arr escapes them tho they appear to consider it that no one takes notice. we are drawn to the likes of each other tho it is i believe and i would be grateful to see an opportunity to jes wet a whistle and get to know some of the same kind. it would not be beyond my capabilities if it were that i may have to travel a bit to join in refreshment and merriment if that be the case as well. with a bow and a wave.... godspeed and fairwinds,

Our Baratarians did the Battle of New Orleans reenactment for the second year, the weekend of January 6, and the group is starting to taking off with full sails and great guns! We are attracting new members, getting invited to other events, and doing some real planning for our future. Our main focus right now is still the 1815 Battle reenactment; but we also plan to branch out into other events and eras: Great Age of Piracy, prepare to be boarded! We are having an organizational meeting this coming Saturday, January 21, at noon, at the River's Edge Restaurant in the French Quarter: Decatur Street, directly across the street from Cafe Du Monde coffee / beignet shop. …

“Behold! A cry from the crow's nest. A ship appears from the south west. The years below deck that bored me, All lead to what lies before me: Hear the terror! Fires burn and cannons sound. Fate awaits me, as the vessels circle round See the slaughter - cutlass swings and pistols fire. I hold my breath, close my eyes and hang on for Death before the mast.” (Alestorm) Welcome to "Before the Mast", a play-by-post role-playing game set in 1719 in the West Indies. Hi, I know a lots of ye.I know many are never going to be ready to make a transition into a full time faire goin fool much like ya knows I am. I'm starting a pyratical group of misfits, insulting, pilaging practical joking humiliating, fun loving friends who like meself might be shipless fools who just might rather staff a guildyard at a certain number of faires and places where we can play! Instead of paying to get in to have no place called home there in the faires we all go to. Som of the faires where we should be able to set up a tent or two are: (and these are in a dateline of occurance during the faire year of first to last.....I think....) Palm Springs Bakersf…

Ahoy, Although my captain (Stingray) and I have been sailing single-handedly for about a year we have finally managed to gather together a group of like minded misfits and call ourselves a crewe. We are now known as the Pirates of Disappearing Island and hail from Ponce Inlet Florida. Stingray and I have attended Pirates in Paradise as well as Pyrate Con and plan on returning to both with a larger and wilder bunch of bilge rats. We look forward to some rum sipping and good times with others that consider themselves the scurge of the sea. fair winds and happy plundering to all.

Does anybody know of any Northern California Crews that I may join up with? I would really love to hook up with a crew and have no idea how. I myself live in Santa Cruz California which would be prime location for a Pirate crew and if there is one, I never heard of them if not, I have no clue how to begin one either. Also is there any one who works the Northen Cali Ren Faire? I was majorally dissapointed that there was no Pirate's row like there is in the Southern Cali Faire. I would love to see a crew up here in the Northen Cali faire. Any Help will be greatly appreciated.

I'm looking for a crew that opperates out of Northern Virginia (Alexandria, Arlington). My options for travel are currently limited so I'm trying to find something close to home. Failing that... I'm wondering if there's any crewes that opperate strictly online? I suppose the Pub could considered such a crew but I wonder if there are others?
